Canon DR-5000 Series Production Scanner Overview

Kollabria Analyst Review of Canon DR-5000 Series Production Scanners:

Production scanners are used to scan large quantities of various paper documents in a short period of time.  The DR-5010C is a color scanner capable of scanning up to 50 PPM (Pages Per Minute) in black and white and in 24bit color. This duplex scanner is one of the most versatile and general purpose high speed scanners on the market.  It boasts the capability to scan everything from credit cards to legal documents and 11 x 17 inch documents.

The DR-5010 has many of the standard features one might expect in more expensive products, such as a long list of image enhancement technologies to do everything from automatically detecting color to filling in paper punch holes when rendering the image so that they don't show up whenever someone views a document.
